After retiring for more than twenty years, Eugene Bostick found himself feeling a bit lonely and decided to take in a stray puppy. In the outskirts of Fort Worth, Texas, where stray dogs are often abandoned, Eugene couldn’t stand to see these animals suffering from hunger, cold, and most importantly, lack of love. He started adopting one dog after another, providing them with a home and the care they desperately needed.
Eugene is the mastermind behind naming all the puppies and showering them with affectionate baths, gently stroking their heads to show his love.
However, as his furry family expanded, Eugene faced a new challenge – how to juggle walking all his dogs. And that’s where the idea for the dog train was born.
Now, several days a week, Eugene can be seen strolling through the neighborhood or exploring the woods with his beloved pups, each riding in their own little crate attached to a harness.
Eugene lovingly places the dogs he looks after in their own cozy crate with a harness, and takes them for walks around the neighborhood or through the nearby woods multiple times a week. The pups absolutely adore spending time at Eugene’s sprawling 12-acre farm, where they can interact with ducks, geese, turtles, bunnies, goats, and various birds. It’s truly the highlight of their day!
Seeing how delighted and content the dogs are while traveling on a train, we hope that more furry friends will have the opportunity to experience such joy and comfort. Eugene’s creative and endearing idea has captured the attention of many, sparking interest in possibly crafting a train for their own beloved pets.
