There are a few things in the world that really give me the heebie-jeebies. One of them is heights, and the other is strange and creepy creatures. These are the kinds of animals that seem to serve no purpose other than scaring the living daylights out of you with their hairy bodies or eerie eyes. In my opinion, these creatures belong in movies or cartoons, not in real life. Unfortunately, there is a whole world of bizarre animals out there that many people are not even aware of. I am thankful that these creepy crawlers, I mean creatures, are not lurking near me. Or at least, I hope they’re not. If you’re like me and prefer to keep your hair down, stomach settled, and fear levels at a minimum, you might want to steer clear of the following photos of gigantic animals.

Personally, I prefer animals that are small, cute, and approachable. Have you ever come across an unexpectedly huge animal in your adventures?
